Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Manager to lead our pet care team and ensure the highest standards of pet care, cleanliness, and customer service. In this role, you will oversee daily kennel operations, manage pet boarding and care services, and coordinate team efforts to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pets and their owners. Your leadership will inspire a team committed to compassionate animal handling and exceptional client experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about pet care and experienced in managing kennel facilities. Responsibilities Perform daily kennel operations, including pet intake, boarding, feeding, cleaning, and discharge procedures Lead and motivate a team of pet care professionals, ensuring efficient task completion and high-quality service delivery Oversee animal handling and behavior management to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness standards through sanitization of kennels, common areas, and equipment in accordance with health regulations Coordinate pet boarding and activity schedules to meet client needs and ensure animal well-being Train new team members on daily procedures, proper animal handling techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations Manage inventory of supplies such as cleaning products, pet food, grooming tools, and veterinary supplies Qualifications Previous kennel or pet care facility management experience preferred Knowledge of dog and cat care and understanding of dog and cat body language Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tasks such as moving supplies or assisting with animals Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Outdoor work experience is beneficial for managing outdoor exercise areas and ensuring safety during outdoor activities Available to work 7:30 am-5 pm Join us if you're passionate about managing a team and providing excellent pet care to dogs and cats! Pay:
$19.00 - $21.75 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 44.0 per weekBenefits:
