Off Leash K9 Training is seeking a talented and experienced Balanced Dog Trainer to join our dedicated team in South Florida. At Off Leash K9 Training, we believe in empowering pet owners to develop strong bonds and positive relationships with their furry companions. As a Positive Balanced Dog Trainer, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of countless dogs and their owners by providing top-notch training services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive consultations and assessments to understand the specific needs and behavior of each dog and their owner. Designing and implementing individualized training programs based on positive reinforcement techniques and balanced training methods. Leading training sessions for dogs and their owners, in private sessions, to address obedience, behavioral issues, agility, and more. Must be able to take up to 2 client dogs into your home for our 2 Week Board & Train program. Educating and guiding owners on effective communication techniques and establishing consistent routines at home. Providing post-training support and follow-up to ensure long-term success and maintain positive behavioral changes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a professional dog trainer is helpful, with a strong background in balanced training methods and positive reinforcement techniques. Deep knowledge and understanding of various dog breeds, their temperaments, and behavioral patterns. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and provide guidance and support. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to address unique training challenges. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners develop a harmonious relationship.
