Job Description

Covey Kennels - Greenville / Anderson, SC Area Covey Kennels is hiring a dog trainer assistant to aid with obedience training programs and daily kennel operations. This position focuses on working directly with dogs through structured training sessions while helping maintain consistent standards across our programs. This position also requires 2-3 kennel tech shifts a week. Responsibilities Conduct daily training sessions with dogs enrolled in obedience programs Work on foundational skills including heel, place, recall, and basic manners Assist Ethan with gundog training Follow established training systems and program structure Safely handle dogs in both training and kennel environments Provide occasional updates on dog progress Assist with basic kennel tech tasks (walking dogs, maintaining clean training areas) Requirements Experience working with dogs (training experience preferred, not required) Comfortable handling medium to large dogs Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Schedule Full-time or part-time options available AM or PM shifts available Pay Pay based on experience
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
