Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Help and Bird Thrower, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of our animal residents. This energetic position involves providing exceptional animal care, assisting with kennel duties, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for our animals and clients alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with dogs, while supporting the daily operations at this facility. Responsibilities Assist with kennel cleaning, sanitation, and organization to maintain a hygienic environment for all animals Handle dogs with care, ensuring proper restraint and behavior management Throw birds for exercise and enrichment in designated outdoor or indoor areas, promoting physical activity and mental stimulation. Aid in record keeping by documenting animal behaviors, treatments, feeding schedules, and other relevant information Assist with animal intake and discharge procedures, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocol. Requirements Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Willingness to learn about animal behavior, welfare standards.
