DTX Pets is looking for reliable, detail-oriented Pet Care Specialists to join our growing team across Dallas! This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves fresh air, independent field work, and having full control over their weekly availability. As a member of our team, you will deliver high-quality, in-home care and structured dog walking, ensuring that safety is always your #1 priority. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
Active Dog Walking:
Conduct safe, structured, one-on-one neighborhood walks tailored to each dog's size, personality, and energy level.
In-Home Pet Sitting:
Manage feeding schedules, refresh water, clean pet areas, and provide companionship and playtime for both dogs and cats.
Medical Care:
Safely administer basic oral or topical medications as requested by clients.
Mobile Reporting:
Utilize our team app to check in/out of visits, GPS-log walks, snap high-quality photos, and send detailed "peace-of-mind" updates to owners.
Home Security:
Maintain strict property security during arrivals and departures to ensure a stress-free environment for pets and owners. What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
Experience & Age:
Must be 18+ with verifiable animal care experience (professional industry, volunteering, or long-term personal pet ownership).
Reliable Transportation:
Must have a valid driver's license and daily access to a reliable, fully insured personal vehicle for traveling between client homes.
Technology:
Must own a smartphone with a reliable data plan for real-time scheduling, GPS navigation, and client communication.
Physical Stamina:
Must be comfortable walking several miles daily outdoors in Texas weather and confident handling larger, energetic dogs.
Mindset:
Strong communication skills, exceptional punctuality, and a safety-focused, observant mindset.
Background Check:
