Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Kennel & Daycare Staff member and become a vital part of creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for our furry friends! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pet care, ensuring animals are comfortable, healthy, and happy during their stay. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help build a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while developing valuable skills in animal handling, and customer service. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to pets in our kennel and daycare facilities, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their well-being Engage pets in playful activities and basic training to promote socialization and good behavior Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces through regular sanitization and organization Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Assist with pet boarding procedures, including check-in/check-out processes and record keeping Support outdoor activities such as walks or supervised playtime in secure outdoor spaces Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's health, behavior, and special needs Requirements Prior experience is helpful but not required, will train the right person. Knowledge of animal behavior, and handling techniques is a strong plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when needed for equipment or pet supplies Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors Strong attention to detail in cleaning routines to ensure a sanitized environment that promotes animal health This dynamic role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to make a difference in the lives of pets every day.
