We provide a calm, home-like environment with individualized care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and needs. We are currently seeking a dependable, responsible, and energetic Full-Time Dog Attendant to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs, takes responsibility seriously, and is looking for consistent, long-term employment.

Full-Time Dog Attendant Hours:

30-40 hours per week

Pay:

$12-$16 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Responsibilities Provide attentive, hands-on supervision of dogs in daycare and boarding. Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. Monitor dog interactions and redirect or intervene before situations escalate. Feed, provide water and snacks, and follow individual care instructions. Administer topical and oral medications and subcutaneous injections as needed; training is provided. Check dogs in and out using our online system. Welcome clients at drop-off and return dogs to their families at pick-up. Maintain clean and sanitary indoor and outdoor areas, including crates, play areas, and the backyard. Rotate dogs according to established schedules and care protocols. Communicate clearly with clients and fellow team members. Complete other dog-care and facility responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs and treat them with care, patience, compassion, and respect. Veterinary, kennel, daycare, boarding, or professional dog-handling experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. At least one year of customer service experience preferred. Comfortable working with both small and large dogs of all breeds. Able to follow detailed instructions and established safety and sanitation protocols. Able to multitask and remain attentive in an active environment. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically able to remain active and on your feet throughout a shift, including frequent walking, bending, standing, reaching, cleaning, and handling dogs. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation required. Reliability, dependability, and punctuality are essential. Availability Requirements This is a full-time position requiring 30-40 hours per week . DOGMAN provides care seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Applicants must have the flexibility to work a combination of scheduled daytime, evening, weekend, holiday, and overnight shifts. Weekend, holiday, and overnight availability is required and scheduled on a rotating basis. We are looking for candidates whose availability can support a consistent full-time schedule and who are interested in a long-term position.
