Responsibilities Provide attentive care to dogs and other animals housed in the kennel, including feeding, cleaning, and administering medications as directed Assist with dog training activities, including basic obedience exercises and behavior reinforcement under supervision Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming, training, or veterinary procedures Support pet grooming routines such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to promote healthy coats and skin Engage with pet owners by answering questions about pet care, training progress, and kennel policies in a friendly, professional manner Maintain cleanliness of kennels, training areas, and common spaces to uphold health standards and prevent the spread of illness Perform heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies or animals safely within the facility Experience (Preferred but not required) Prior experience working with dogs or other animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic, pet grooming salon or similar setting preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques or experience assisting with behavioral training sessions beneficial Familiarity with pet grooming practices and pet sitting responsibilities advantageous Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal restraint methods required for safe procedures Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to animal well-being!
