As a member of our Canine Care Team , you'll work hands-on with dogs of all ages and sizes (especially Dachshunds) to ensure every guest enjoys a clean, safe, and loving environment. This position combines playtime, cleaning, feeding, enrichment, and teamwork in a fun, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize kennels, yards, and common areas to maintain high facility standards Feed, water, and administer medications according to individual care instructions Observe and record behavior or health changes and report to management Assist with client check-ins/check-outs and communicate updates as needed Bathe dogs and perform basic grooming services Supervise, monitor, and interact with dogs during daycare and boarding playgroups Provide comfort, affection, and positive experiences for every dog in your care

Requirements:

Passion for dogs and dedication to their health, safety, and happiness Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and staying active for long periods Previous experience in animal care, dog daycare, or kennel work preferred but not required
