Job Description

Pet Care Team Lead - Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Love working with animals and helping others succeed? Paw Time Favorite Pet Sitting and Dog Walking is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Team Lead to provide excellent pet care and support our walkers and sitters. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have your own reliable transportation to travel between client homes. Must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Must be able to pass a background check. Great communication, reliable, and dependable. This is a hands-on field position. You'll continue completing dog walks and pet-sitting visits while helping team members follow our standards, troubleshoot everyday questions, and feel supported. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and owners. What You'll Do Complete dog walks and pet-sitting visits while following each pet's individual care instructions. Serve as a point of contact for team members during assigned shifts. Review assigned visit reports for punctuality, correct visit duration, clear notes, and meaningful photos, including required home-security documentation. Mark reports as reviewed and bring missing information or recurring concerns to management. Offer respectful reminders and practical coaching to help maintain consistent care. Assist with onboarding, shadow visits, and field training. Help coordinate coverage for callouts when requested, with management approving schedule changes. Assist with routine client questions when management is unavailable and escalate complaints or sensitive concerns. Report pet health concerns, injuries, incidents, and safety risks promptly. Keep client, home-access, and employee information confidential. What We're Looking For Experience in professional pet sitting, dog walking, veterinary care, boarding, or a related animal-care role. Consistent punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail. Confidence following individualized pet routines and safe handling procedures. Clear, professional written communication and comfort giving constructive feedback. Good judgment about when to help independently and when to contact management. Comfort using a smartphone, team chat, and scheduling software. We provide training on Time to Pet. Reliable transportation between client homes and a smartphone with dependable service. Ability to safely perform dog walks and pet-care tasks outdoors in varying weather, with reasonable accommodation. Willingness to complete required background screening, company training, and pet first aid/CPR requirements. Previous leadership or employee-training experience is a plus. Schedule and Role Expectations Hours depend on scheduled pet-care visits and assigned Team Lead duties. Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays will be discussed during the hiring process. Team-support and any on-call coverage will have defined assigned hours and response expectations. Required training, report reviews, team communication, and other work duties are paid time. This is a leadership-support role. Payroll, discipline, time-off approvals, final schedule approvals, refunds, pricing, and policy exceptions remain management responsibilities. Pay:
