Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Pet Care Specialist /Dog Daycare Supervisor Giving Tree Pet Resort About Us:
Giving Tree Pet Resort is a family-owned pet care facility dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for dogs. We take pride in delivering personalized care and creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Pet Care Specialist / Dog Daycare Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about animal care, with strong dog-handling experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Leadership experience is a plus for candidates interested in supervisory responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise dogs in kennels and playrooms to ensure safety and comfort Monitor group play and dog behavior to prevent conflicts Provide safe potty breaks and follow feeding schedules Set up and maintain clean, organized play areas Conduct routine health checks and report any concerns Maintain accurate records (behavior notes, incidents, care logs) (Supervisor Level) Oversee daily daycare operations and support team members with training and guidanceQualifications:
Previous experience in pet care, dog daycare, kennel work, or veterinary settings required Strong knowledge of dog behavior and safe handling techniques Experience with Gingr software is a plus Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes (including lifting when needed) Leadership experience is a plus (for supervisory responsibilities)Shift Structure & Availability:
Operating hours: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM Shifts may include early morning, afternoon, or evening Must be available for weekdays, weekends, and holidays (including major holidays)Why You'll Love Working Here:
