Job Description

Horse Trainer Private Farm looking for a dedicated Horse Trainer / Riding instructor to join our team who is available to work full time
  • weekdays and weekends on a rotating basis.
Responsibilities:
Daily care for horses (feed, water, clean stalls) Care for tack Carriage rides Riding / instruction Medication administration for herd Must be comfortable around horses and have experience training. Applicant should be a motivated, hard worker with good time management skills and the ability to work with little supervisor. Someone who can take initiative and has great attention to details. Duties could include any of the following:
Requirements:
  • Working outdoors year-round in all types of weather
  • Prolonged walking, standing
  • Ability to recognize injures or illness with herd
  • Must have experience caring for tack
  • Work with staff and Vet / Farrier on site
  • Ability to teach staff to ride Full Time position
  • 40 hours per week
Salary:
$20
  • $28 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday shifts with Weekend availability.
Schedule will rotate as needed Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with horses, trail riding, lunging, identifying medical issues with horses and administering medication and supplements. Experience with retired and carriage horses preferred.

$20.00
