Ideally, we need someone to come in close a few times a week but potential to pick up other shifts as well, we have a staff member out some of May into mid-June. Team members are expected to be reliable, committed, and genuinely looking for employment. Previous experience with dog management in some capacity is a bonus, but the right attitude will get you a long way too.

The position requires:

• Physically managing a decent size pack of dogs. Being on your feet a lot and using your 'life-guard' eyes to monitor activity around you. You know how to read the body language of the dogs to maintain a safe and playful environment and to determine the best course of action in situations of high-arousal.
• Performing Chores & Services. Lots of cleaning, poop collecting, feeding dogs, dog walking, laundry, and 'sleepovers' etc…
• Customer Service. Able to comfortably engage with owners and their dogs, handle phone calls, emails, text, taking payments etc…
• Operating Computer System using a reservation system to check dogs in and out; make reservations; take payments; record activity etc...
• Good Company.

Your day is spent with co-workers as part of a small team and being comfortable conversing and being interested, supportive and respectful of one another is important to us.
