Job Description
Dog Handler Happy Paws Grooming, Daycare, and Kenneling

- having animal care experience is preferred but not required. Dog handlers are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals in our care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing play groups up to roughly 25 dogs per handler
- Cleaning, a LOT of cleaning! Picking up poops, urine, vomit, blood
- we see it all!
- During check-ins and checkouts, leashing up dogs or bringing them to a kennel or crate while providing excellent customer service as dogs come and go
- Efficiently perform tasks given by supervisors or shift leads
- Handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Bathing dogs
- Feeding, watering, and administering meds as needed
- Continuously learning and improving on handling skills and knowledge on dog behavior
- Loving dogs!
