Full Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receptionists at UniFURsity Club play a vital role in creating a positive experience for both our human clients and canine guests. This position combines front-desk responsibilities with hands-on dog care, ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, and a safe, clean environment. Provide guests with attentive, courteous, and informative service and exhibit a personal interest in all pets; efficiently and effectively address customer complaints and resolve problems Answer phones, schedule daycare, boarding, and grooming services, and efficiently manage daily appointments Conduct dog temperament evaluations and monitor dog behavior to maintain safe, balanced playgroups Effectively manage daily schedules and staffing needs, including communicating with team members regarding shift changes or call-offs to maintain efficient labor practices Assist with inventory management, cost control, loss prevention, and preparation of supply lists Support marketing and social media efforts, including promoting services, sharing updates, and informing guests of upcoming events or promotions Assist with achieving sales goals and educating clients on services that best fit their needs Monitor dog behavior and oversee dog play Properly maintain facilities, providing a high level of cleanliness and maintenance, and perform essential cleaning duties and upkeep of rooms and equipment to maximize the appearance and availability of facilities Maintain a safe playgroup environment for guests Willingness to learn and assist with basic grooming services, including baths and nail trims Complete additional projects and duties as assigned by managementRequirements:
Authorized to work in the United States Related experience in pet care (dog sitting, dog walking, daycare, boarding, veterinary field) preferred 18+ years old Reliable Transportation Working knowledge of computers Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, climb, and carry 50 pounds Ability to remain calm, attentive, and safety-focused in a fast-paced, dog-filled environmentSchedule:
Must be willing to work a mixture of the following shifts (Weekends occasional unless preferred) M-F AM Shift 6:15AM-12:30PM M-F PM Shift 12:00PM-6:30PM Friday 9PM-10PM- Extra Pay Saturday 9PM-10PM
- Extra Pay Sunday 7AM-9AM
- Extra Pay Saturday 8AM-5PM Sunday 4PM-7
