Part -Time Licensed Hairsylist Needed in Homewood, AL Cowlicks, Cuts for Kids is looking for a talented, dependable part-time hairstylist to join our team! We're a locally owned children's salon located in downtown Homewood, where we help kids feel comfortable while giving them great haircuts. Voted Birmigham Parent Magazine's Favorite Kids Hair Salon. We're looking for someone with strong cutting skills, a patient approach, and a friendly attitude towards children, parents, and other employees. If you enjoy working with kids and creating a positive experience for families, we'd love to meet you.

Qualifications:

Active AL Cosmetology License Confident scissor and clipper haircutting skills Previous salon experience Patience, Kindness, and comfort working with children Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable attendance, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude Children's haircutting experience preferred

Responsibilities :

Perform quality cuts using scissors and clippers Consult with parents and children about desired cut outcome Help children feel at east including those who are feeling nervous or need extra patience Maintain a clean, sanitized station and follow salon sanitation practices Stay on schedule while giving each client thoughtful attention Help fellow stylists and contribute to a welcoming salon environment

Schedule :

This is a part time position. Ideally looking for after school hours 3-6pm Tues- Fri and every (or every other Saturday)
