Overview Join our dynamic team at The Salon Professional Academy as a Cosmetology Instructor and inspire the next generation of beauty professionals! In this vibrant role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of cosmetology, Manicuring and Esthetic treatments to educate, mentor, and motivate students in a comprehensive learning environment. Your expertise in skincare, Cosmetology and hair styling, and other beauty disciplines will empower students to excel in their careers while fostering a passion for innovation and excellence in the beauty industry. Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons on a wide range of cosmetology topics including hair coloring, styling, nail care, facials, makeup application, and esthetic laser treatments Supervise students during practical sessions to ensure safety, proper technique, and adherence to industry standards Administer detailed lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and industry best practices Mentor students by providing constructive feedback, guidance on skill development, and career advice Demonstrate advanced techniques such as hair extensions, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, ect,,, Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to active learning and creativity Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into teaching modules to keep curriculum fresh and relevant Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in skincare, , hair styling, or related fields Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to aesthetic treatments. Prior classroom experience or teaching background in adult education settings is highly preferred Skilled in multiple cosmetology disciplines including nail care, facial treatments, makeup application, hair coloring, threading, and esthetic laser treatments Ability to mentor students effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere Excellent lesson planning skills with an emphasis on hands-on training and practical demonstrations Certification or licensure in cosmetology or related specialties as required by local regulations Passionate about inspiring students and advancing their professional growth through comprehensive instruction Embark on a fulfilling career where your expertise transforms aspiring beauty professionals into confident industry experts.
