Salon Blissful is seeking an experienced hairstylist to join our team. If you have experience performing highlights, balayages, different style cuts, and are up to date with styling trends, we'd love to meet you! Ultimately, you will ensure all your clients leave the salon satisfied with your services.

Responsibilities:

Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival. Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their hair goals, preferences, and hair history. Assess hair condition, scalp health, and suitability for various treatments and styles. Provide expert advice and recommendations on hairstyles, colors, and hair care products. Clearly communicate pricing and service details to clients. Maintain detailed client records, including service history and preferences. Address client concerns and complaints professionally and effectively. Ensure tidiness of hair stations, keeping stations up to par with the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology standards and sterilizing tools. Cross-sell services when appropriate. Recommend and sell professional hair care products to clients based on their individual needs.

Skills:

Work experience as a hairstylist, hairdresser, or colorist. Hands on experience with various coloring techniques. Knowledge of color formulation, treatment products, and services. Physical stamina to stand for long period of hours.

Requirements:

Flexibility to work open and closing shifts as well as required to work every Saturday. Valid cosmetologist license issued by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology. Must dress professional with hair and makeup done. Classes and meetings are mandatory
