Job description: Overview We are looking for a part-time with a compensation range of $25 - $35 per hour, inclusive of tips and commissions, base pay of $17. Candidate must be a licensed cosmetologist that is comfortable doing boys cut or licensed barber. Position may be Part Time but Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. We strive to provide professional services in a fun and exciting environment with friendly and experienced staff members. We believe everyone should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!" Relaxed staff in a fun and fast-paced environment. No early mornings or late nights. Able to make your own schedule. Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is looking for people who naturally smile, have a friendly nature, an upbeat, positive attitude, and actively seek out, greet, and engage all guests in conversation. Responsibilities Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations. Ensure all treatments meet high-quality standards. Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends. Maintain cleanliness of the salon. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. Ability to work with kids. Experience Current Cosmetology or Barber license for this state. Able to work weekends, both Saturday and Sunday. Must be able to cut boys hair (required) or comfortable doing fades (preferred). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities Ability to multitask efficiently at the front desk while maintaining high-quality service standards Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets exceptional service!
