We focus on results-driven treatments, exceptional client care, and creating a welcoming, modern, elevated experience. Our Head Spa combines relaxation with scalp and hair wellness, offering clients a unique experience focused on scalp care, cleansing, hydration, and overall hair and scalp health. Position Summary We are seeking a California Licensed Cosmetologist to join our team as a Head Spa Specialist . Previous head spa experience is not required — we will provide training. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hair and scalp wellness, enjoys working hands-on with clients, and takes pride in creating an exceptional service experience. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and excited to learn and grow with our clinic. Responsibilities Perform Head Spa treatments according to Skin & Strand protocols Provide scalp cleansing, shampooing, conditioning, massage, steaming, and other hair and scalp wellness services Perform scalp analysis and assist with personalized service recommendations Educate clients on appropriate hair and scalp care Recommend professional retail products based on client needs Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized treatment rooms and equipment Prepare and reset treatment rooms between appointments Document services and relevant client information Deliver a relaxing, professional, and elevated client experience Assist with client retention, memberships, rebooking, and product recommendations Collaborate with our hair restoration, aesthetic, and medical teams when appropriate Support general clinic operations as needed Requirements Active California Cosmetology License —

REQUIRED

Head Spa experience not required; training will be provided Interest in scalp care, hair wellness, beauty, and client care Excellent communication and customer-service skills Professional, reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable providing hands-on scalp and hair treatments Ability to learn new treatment protocols and technologies Ability to multitask in a boutique, client-focused environment Salon, spa, luxury hospitality, or wellness experience is a plus, but not required Schedule & Compensation This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into additional hours as our Head Spa continues to expand.

Pay:

$22.00-$25.00 per hour , based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Employee discounts on eligible treatments and products are available, along with opportunities for professional growth within our expanding clinic. Additional Earning Opportunities This position includes opportunities to earn additional income through commissions and performance-based incentives , including eligible retail product sales, memberships, and qualifying treatment referrals. Preferred Availability Local candidates based in Alameda, Oakland, or surrounding areas are a plus .
