Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, customer service, and salon management. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the salon. Responsibilities Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions. Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations. Use salon software such as SQUARE for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales. Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and customer service best practices. Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions. Experience Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required. Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing skills in various techniques including straight razor cuts and hair threading. Familiarity with salon software systems such as square is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Experience in retail sales is a plus, as well as knowledge of retail math for inventory management. A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
