Use salon software like Gloss Genius to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and retail packages to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, listening attentively, and building lasting client relationships through personalized care. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and supporting store management with daily operations. Mentor junior team members in technical skills like barbering, color theory, store management practices, and client communication strategies. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, coloring, and hair care treatments. Knowledge of salon software systems such as Gloss Genius for appointment booking and client management. Strong communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members alike.
