Our 5,000+ square-foot spa offers a full-service experience including hair, nails, massage, skincare, head spa, and wellness treatments in a refined, modern setting. We are committed to excellence, artistry, and exceptional hospitality. Role Overview The Hair Stylist plays a vital role in delivering Y Salon & Spa's elevated beauty and wellness experience. This position provides luxury hair services using premium products, advanced techniques, and refined guest care. The ideal candidate creates a relaxing, results-driven experience while upholding the spa's impeccable service and sanitation standards. Key Responsibilities  Perform luxury-level coloring, balayage and hair treatment enhancements in accordance with spa protocols and brand standards  Deliver precise hair care, shaping, buffing, hair treatments, styling services, and specialty treatments  Customize services based on guest preferences, hair health, and desired results  Provide warm, intuitive, and polished guest service, ensuring each client feels relaxed and valued  Educate guests on hair health, aftercare, and maintenance products  Recommend retail and homecare products (hair oils, strengthening treatments, hydration products) authentically and professionally  Maintain immaculate hair stations and treatment rooms at all times  Follow all state regulations for sanitation, hygiene, and safe product handling  Accurately document guest preferences and service notes in spa software  Communicate clearly with spa leadership, front desk, and fellow team members  Participate in ongoing training, brand education, and new service launches  Support spa promotions, seasonal offerings, and VIP experiences as needed Qualifications  Valid California Cosmetology License  1-2 years of experience in a luxury spa, high-end salon, resort, or premium hospitality environment preferred  Expertise in hair systems  Experience with structured hair colors, or enhancements is a plus  Strong understanding of hair health, product knowledge, and advanced techniques  Exceptional grooming, professionalism, and guest-service skills  Impeccable attention to detail and sanitation standards  Artistic eye with steady, precise hands  Graceful, calm, and polished demeanor  Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays  Passion for beauty, wellness, and elevated guest experiences  High emotional intelligence, discretion, and respect for guest privacy Why Join Y Salon & Spa?  Work in a luxury, modern spa environment  Supportive, professional team culture  Ongoing education and growth opportunities  Competitive hourly pay plus commission  Opportunity to showcase creativity and artistry at a premium level If you are a dedicated Hair Stylist who takes pride in precision, creativity, and exceptional guest care, we would love to welcome you to the Y Salon & Spa team. ��
