ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Assistance:

Greet and welcome clients, assist them with their coats, and offer them beverages. Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring their comfort and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Shampooing and Conditioning:

Assist with shampooing and conditioning clients' hair, ensuring proper techniques and products are used. Pay attention to client preferences and any specific needs related to curly hair.

Blow-drying and Styling:

Help with blow-drying clients' hair, using appropriate tools and techniques. Assist in styling hair, following the instructions and guidance of the lead stylist.

Preparation and Cleanup:

Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Prepare styling tools, towels, and products needed for each client. Clean and sanitize tools and work areas after each use.

Product Knowledge:

Familiarize yourself with the salon's product offerings, including those designed specifically for curly hair. Provide recommendations to clients based on their hair type and desired outcome.

Salon Support:

Assist stylists with various tasks, such as mixing color formulas, applying color, and preparing foils. Be attentive and proactive in supporting the stylists to ensure smooth salon operations.

Learning and Development:

Actively participate in training sessions and educational opportunities provided by the salon. Continuously improve your skills and knowledge in curly hair care and styling techniques.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with the salon team to create a positive and welcoming environment for both clients and colleagues. Support and assist other team members when needed.

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
