- Organizing and preparing tools, products, and supplies for stylists as needed.
- Assist with color application, foiling, and other technical services as directed by the stylist.
- Perform blow-drying and basic styling tasks under the guidance of a stylist if needed.
- Greeting clients warmly at the door and accommodating them with amenities such as water, coffee, etc.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstations and common areas.
- Sweep hair, clean tools, and sanitize equipment regularly.
- Restocking supplies around the salon as needed.
- Ensure the salon is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in hair care and styling.
- Attend training sessions and workshops provided by the salon.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to salon goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CT cosmetology license
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn. (Team player)
- Takes opportunity for growth and advancement in the industry.
- Previous experience in a salon setting is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and ability to handle various tools and products.
