We help women leave the chair not just looking their best, but knowing how to care for their curls at home. We're growing, with a second location opening in Hartford, CT this fall, and we're looking for a Salon Assistant to help us deliver an exceptional experience to every client who walks through our doors. The Salon Assistant is the backbone of a smooth, welcoming salon experience. You'll work hand-in-hand with our stylists to prep, support, and elevate every client visit, while also making sure the salon runs like clockwork behind the scenes. What You'll Do Shampoo, condition, and detangle client hair with care, following our curl-specific protocols Style and dry hair, including diffusing, based on stylist direction and curl type Greet and interact with clients warmly, helping them feel comfortable from check-in to check-out Assist stylists during services, including sectioning, product application, and tool prep Keep stations, tools, and the salon floor clean, sanitized, and fully stocked Manage laundry, towels, and capes to keep things running smoothly Support retail area upkeep and help clients find products for their at-home routine Assist with scheduling, client check-in/check-out, and other front-desk tasks as needed Learn and grow within our curl education system, with opportunities to build toward a stylist role What We're Looking For
