One Aveda Salon | Delray Beach, FL One Aveda Salon is looking for a motivated, reliable, and well-rounded hairstylist to join our team. This position can be part-time or full-time , with a flexible schedule that works for both the stylist and salon. While we offer flexibility, we are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule so guests know when they can find you behind the chair. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys doing it all: color, cutting, styling, men's cuts, children's cuts, and taking care of a variety of guests while continuing to grow their business within an established salon. The Stylist We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is comfortable providing a variety of services, including: Hair coloring and highlighting services Balayage and dimensional color Women's haircuts and styling Men's haircuts Children's haircuts Blow dries and finishing Treatments and add-on services We are looking for someone who is: Reliable, punctual, and consistent Hard-working and self-motivated A true go-getter who wants to grow behind the chair Comfortable building relationships with guests Interested in building and maintaining a strong clientele Willing to rebook, recommend products, and grow their business Someone who takes initiative without always needing to be asked Willing to help fellow team members when needed Open to continuing education and improving their craft Comfortable working independently while also being part of a small team Licensed in cosmetology in the state of Florida Compensation Stylists begin at 42% commission on services . Once you have demonstrated consistency behind the chair, strong performance, and responsible use of salon-provided color and supplies, service commission increases to 45% . Our goal is to give new team members time to become established within the salon while creating an opportunity to increase commission as they demonstrate consistency and grow their business. We Provide the Products & Supplies We provide and consistently stock the professional products and supplies you need to take care of your guests, including: Professional Aveda hair color Back bar shampoos, conditioners, and treatments Styling and finishing products Color bowls and brushes Foils Gloves Capes and towels You bring your favorite tools: your blow dryer, hot tools, brushes, combs, shears, clippers, and anything else you personally love using behind the chair. No worrying about purchasing your own color inventory, running out of foils, or stocking everyday salon supplies, we've got that covered. Once your days and hours are established, however, we do expect a consistent weekly schedule . Full time is considered 35+ hours weekly consistently.
