About the role You teach barbering theory and supervise students on the clinic floor, preparing them for the Florida licensure exam and for real work behind the chair. Our Barber Stylist program runs 900 hours. What you'll do Deliver theory instruction following the approved program curriculum Supervise students performing services on clients on the clinic floor Demonstrate cutting, shaving, fading, styling, and sanitation technique Evaluate practical work and keep accurate records of hours, attendance, and progress Prepare students for the Florida state board examination Enforce sanitation, safety, and professional conduct standards Contact students who miss class to understand why and help them get back on track What we're looking for Active Florida barbering license in good standing — and any instructor credential Florida requires to teach in a licensed school At least 3 years of professional barbering experience Patience and the ability to explain technique to students at very different skill levels Dependable attendance and professional presentation Nice to have Prior teaching, mentoring, or apprentice supervision experience

Bilingual English/Spanish Compensation:

$24.00-$29.00/hr.
