This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a real career in the beauty industry—not simply work behind the scenes. What You'll Learn You'll work alongside an experienced stylist and learn the professional systems that go into creating an exceptional salon experience, including: Shampooing and conditioning Blow drying and styling Client preparation and salon flow Haircare and professional product knowledge Color preparation and application support Hair consultations and client communication Curly hair care and styling Professional sanitation and organization Retail and product recommendations Salon etiquette and hospitality Social media/content opportunities How to create a loyal clientele The business side of being a successful stylist What You'll Do Welcome and assist salon guests Prepare clients and work areas Shampoo and condition clients Assist with color and styling services as appropriate Maintain a clean, organized salon environment Restock products and supplies Assist the stylist throughout appointments Help create a warm, professional client experience Participate in education and training Follow salon procedures and sanitation standards Be willing to learn and accept coaching We're Looking For Someone Who Is Reliable and punctual Friendly and professional Passionate about hair and beauty Eager to learn Coachable Detail-oriented Comfortable interacting with clients A team player Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Interested in building a long-term career in hair Currently enrolled in cosmetology school, recently graduated, or newly licensed?
