It's the business side most stylists need guidance and nurturing, how to consult, proper formulation, an unforgettable salon experience, the finish and follow up with each guest. It is a management and I have systems to support your client communication skills, your goal setting; forward focus, and time management. I'm interested in interviewing both experienced stylists with a clientele, and newer stylists that may require clock hours to assist and learn from me behind the chair. Either way, I am looking for a certain type of drive and passion. Learn and master salon software systems such as MangoMint, Salon Scale, and social media. Working with your camera. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients. Support sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff Participate in mentoring sessions and training programs focused on hair coloring, hair cutting, and styling skills. Knowledge of salon software platforms such as MangoMint is a plus but can be taught during training Familiarity with hair care products, color theory, and hair styling techniques is advantageous For established stylists, will want work history experience and conversation. Strong communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and team members A valid cosmetology or barbering license is required; ongoing education in sanitation standards is mandatory Demonstrated ability to mentor others or willingness to develop mentoring skills is highly valued As the owner of a small salon environment, I really want someone that is a team member someone that wants to really evolve and be serious about their career long term.
