This dynamic role offers the flexibility to work on a variety of bridal and special event occasions, delivering personalized hair and makeup services that enhance each client's unique style. As a freelance professional, you will collaborate closely with clients to create stunning looks, utilizing your expertise in beauty artistry, while managing your schedule independently. Your creativity, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service will ensure memorable experiences for every bride and guest you serve. Duties Consult with clients to understand their vision and preferences to design customized hair and makeup looks Perform bridal makeup applications using techniques such as contouring intentionally designed to flatter the client's features. Style hair for brides and bridal parties, including updos, curls, bridal braids, and special event hairstyles with a clean, modern and polished finish. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly sterilizing tools and adhering to safety protocols Manage time effectively to ensure punctuality for scheduled appointments Please only apply if you meet these requirements: Must reside in Tampa, FL/St Pete or surrounding areas. Proficiency and at least 3 years of experience in bridal hair and makeup . If you do both, even better. Must be willing to obtain non-negotiable products and tools necessary to work with us if you don't already have them. Must reside in Tampa or St Pete area. Must have excellent client communication and listening skills with the ability to understand and translate client desires into stunning results Have reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Must be willing to do a hair and makeup tryout as part of hiring process. Must be licensed in the state of Florida . Please refrain from applying if you own a team or plan to. We are looking for freelance hair and makeup artists, not team owners. Must be proactive, have excellent communication, organization and listening skills. Ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under time constraints Familiarity with photography techniques for capturing finished looks for portfolios or social media is a plus Must include your social pages and/or website to be considered - you can email your socials or portfolio directly or include it in your resume.
