Rejuvenate Salon & Spas is accepting resumes for a Hairstylist for a busy upscale senior living community in Vero Beach, FL. The qualified candidate should have a strong background providing the following services: Haircuts, blow-dry's, perms, roller sets, teasing, hair color, highlights and more. Full clientele ready for services already waiting for the right stylists. All applicants must have a passion for working with the senior population and an understanding of their needs and limitations. A caring, compassionate mindset and dependability are required for this position. Rejuvenate Salon & Spa pays commission + tips on a WEEKLY basis. Responsibilities Greet all residents, family members and employees of the community with a warm, friendly attitude Ensure customer needs are identified Provide full hair services, experience a must. Ensure residents with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner Complete salon paperwork carefully and efficiently Collect payment for services (if applicable) Perform limited reception duties Maintain safety standards Maintain cleanliness of work area to include sweeping hair Maintain and sanitize hair cutting tools and salon instruments Maintain confidentiality of information Requirements High School Diploma/GED Current Cosmetology license for the state in which you are working Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills Friendly and Professional Demeanor; Patience Able and Willing to work a Flexible Schedule Ability to walk Ability to reach with hands and arms Ability to stand for a minimum of 6 hours Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch 50% commission Clientele awaits you!
