Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Cosmetology Instructor to inspire and educate aspiring beauty professionals. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training across a wide range of cosmetology disciplines, including skincare, hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and aesthetic treatments. Your expertise will empower students to develop their skills, confidence, and industry knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in the beauty industry. Duties Deliver engaging lessons on cosmetology topics. Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices Supervise students during practical training sessions to ensure safety and skill development Mentor students by providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth Demonstrate advanced techniques including massage therapy, trigger point therapy, aesthetic laser treatments, and deep tissue massage Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, participation, and learning Assess student progress through evaluations and practical demonstrations to ensure competency in various cosmetology skills Familiarize with GA State Board testing procedures. Skills Extensive knowledge of cosmetology disciplines such as skincare, haircare, hair styling, chemical, nail care, and makeup application Proven experience working in the beauty industry with hands-on salon experience preferred Strong teaching abilities with experience in adult education and lesson planning Ability to mentor students effectively while supervising their practical work in a classroom or salon setting In-depth understanding of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures and treatments Skilled in delivering specialized services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, facial treatments, and laser aesthetics Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts and industry standards Familiarity with modern beauty techniques.
