Responsibilities Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences. Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend appropriate styles and treatments. Utilize barbering techniques and straight razor skills when necessary for precision cuts. Apply hair extensions and perform eyelash extension services as requested by clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance client satisfaction and promote salon offerings. Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development through guidance and support. Skills Proficiency in hair styling techniques, natural styling, including cutting, braiding, loc maintenance and coloring Experience with barbering skills and straight razor usage is highly desirable. Knowledge of retail math to effectively manage product sales and inventory. Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative environment within the salon. Strong retail sales skills to drive product recommendations and enhance client experiences.
