River North or Avondale, Chicago, IL (stylist's choice, or split time across both) Job type: Part-time or Full-time, Commission Cutting Club Chicago is hiring our first team stylist. Cutting Club is a suite-based salon focused on building real client relationships, not quick turnover hustle culture. This is a W-2 position with commission-based pay and a flexible schedule. You'll work independently out of a suite, on hours that work for you, with the backing of an established salon and client base behind you. You can work primarily out of the River North location (Salon Lofts, State & Superior), the Avondale location (Runway Studios, Milwaukee & Dawson), or split your time between both. All experience levels are welcome to apply. Training will be tailored to where you're starting from, whether you're newly licensed or have years behind the chair.

Responsibilities:

Provide haircutting, styling, and related services to clients in a professional suite environment. Build and maintain client relationships, keep a clean environment.

Requirements:

Active Illinois cosmetology or barber license. Reliable, professional, and client-focused. Comfortable working independently in a suite setting.

Pay:

Commission-based [uncapped commission structure based off of performance]
