Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, nail extensions, acrylic application, and nail care consultations. Deliver professional hair styling including cuts, blowouts, hair extensions, and barbering services tailored to each client's preferences. Apply advanced techniques like color theory for custom nail art and hair coloring treatments. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations for nail care and hair styling. Upsell retail products related to nail care, hair treatments, and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all health regulations while managing appointment schedules efficiently. Skills Strong knowledge of color theory for nails and hair coloring techniques. Proficiency in nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and general nail care. Experience with pedicure services and esthetic laser treatments is a plus. Skilled in hair styling techniques including cutting, blow-drying, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and barbering. Deep understanding of salon safety protocols such as sanitation practices and disinfection procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Experience working in the beauty industry with a solid background in cosmetology or esthetician training. Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of skin care treatments like dermabrasion or laser therapy is advantageous but not required.
