Duties :

Deliver engaging classroom instruction on topics including hair cutting and styling, coloring, hair extensions, nail care, facials, makeup application, waxing, and aesthetic treatments. Demonstrate practical skills such as, facials, nail care procedures, and advanced hair techniques to enhance student learning. Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to hands-on learning and professional development. Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into curriculum delivery. Ensure all instructional activities comply with state regulations and licensing standards. Requirements Valid Illinois Cosmetology Instructor license with active certification. Proven experience in cosmetology practice with expertise in areas such as hair styling, coloring, extensions, nail care, facials, makeup application and facial waxing. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures and skin health. Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively through classroom experience and lesson planning skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. Familiarity with modern cosmetology tools and safety protocols. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels.
