We are looking for an established hairstylist who has their own Clientele. Hair Jordan is located in Jordan Square on 3rd and Eagleson directly across Jacobs School of Music and in the heart of the IU campus. Responsibilities Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling. Utilize color theory to achieve desired results for various hair types. Perform hair extensions and threading techniques to meet client needs. Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive salon atmosphere. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification. Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques. Experience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, hair extensions, barbering, and hair threading is preferred. Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair services. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to upsell services and products effectively. Previous experience in store management is a plus but not required. A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to ongoing professional development.
