Cosmetology Instructor Moored Associates Granger, IN Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Cosmetology License Cosmetology Instructor License Full Job Description Position Overview Moored Beauty Schools is seeking a passionate, licensed Cosmetology Instructor to join our team at Michiana Beauty College. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to educating, mentoring, and inspiring future beauty professionals while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment. Under the supervision of the Campus Director, the Cosmetology Instructor is responsible for delivering classroom and clinic instruction, monitoring student progress, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and helping students develop the technical and professional skills necessary for success in the beauty industry. Key Responsibilities Deliver classroom and practical instruction in accordance with curriculum requirements and state board regulations Demonstrate cosmetology techniques, theory, and industry best practices Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support learning and growth Monitor and document student attendance, grades, and Minimum Practical Applications (MPAs) Administer and grade assignments, practical evaluations, and examinations Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements Supervise students during clinic floor activities and practical training Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment Mentor and motivate students to achieve academic and professional success Collaborate with Campus Directors and fellow instructors to enhance educational quality and student outcomes Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and state licensing requirements Qualifications Active Cosmetology Instructor License (Indiana) Active Cosmetology License (Indiana) Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or salon leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of cosmetology theory, practical techniques, and state board requirements Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to motivate and engage students with diverse learning styles Professional appearance and positive attitude Commitment to student success and educational excellence What We Offer Competitive compensation Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education The ability to make a lasting impact on the next generation of beauty professionals A rewarding career combining your passion for cosmetology and education About Moored Beauty Schools Moored Beauty Schools operates multiple campuses across Michigan and Indiana and is dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in the beauty industry.
