Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs, and providing excellent customer service throughout their visit. Mentor junior team members on techniques like hair coloring, styling, and sanitation practices to foster a collaborative team environment. Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and retail offerings through ongoing education and training. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles. Knowledge of salon software platforms such as MINDBODY or similar systems for appointment management. Skilled in various hair care techniques including coloring (color theory), styling, extensions, threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application. Familiarity with store management basics like retail math, upselling strategies, and front desk operations. Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited institution is required; additional certifications in nail care or advanced styling are a plus. Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration; ability to build lasting client relationships through exceptional customer service.
