Responsibilities Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming consultations tailored to each client's preferences. Utilize salon software such as MYTIME to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently. Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Offer expert advice on hair care, hair coloring, and styling techniques to meet individual client needs. Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their desired look while educating them on hair care routines and product recommendations. Upsell retail products such as hair care items, and grooming accessories to enhance client satisfaction and store sales. Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge on barbering techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service excellence. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in barbering, hair styling, and coloring. Proficiency with salon management software like MYTIME or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and sterilization procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their grooming needs. Familiarity with retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math calculations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
