Duties Greet clients warmly, manage front desk responsibilities, and schedule appointments using salon software such as

MINDBODY.

Assist stylists with hair care services including shampooing, braid down, hair styling, and hair threading. Prepare workstations by sanitizing tools and ensuring all equipment meets sanitation standards for safety and hygiene. Support with retail sales by upselling hair care products, boutique items, and eyelash extensions to enhance client results. Help maintain the cleanliness of the salon environment, including sanitation of tools and treatment areas. Assist with client communication to ensure their needs are understood and expectations are met or exceeded. Support store management with inventory tracking, retail math calculations, and organizing supplies for efficient operations. Mentor new team members on salon procedures, customer service techniques, and product knowledge to foster a collaborative atmosphere. Experience Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a customer service role is highly preferred. Knowledge of salon software systems. Familiarity with hair coloring techniques, hair extensions application, eyelash extensions. Skills in shampooing, hair styling, and hair threading will set candidates apart. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Understanding of sanitation practices necessary for maintaining a safe salon environment. Experience in retail sales and upselling strategies to enhance client satisfaction and revenue growth. Certification in cosmetology is a plus but not required; a passion for learning is essential.
