Responsibilities Deliver professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming using tools such as straight razors and scissors Perform hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair styling to meet client preferences and current trends Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning and sterilizing all tools and workstations Utilize salon software like
MINDBODY
for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking Provide excellent customer service through clear communication, understanding client needs, and offering personalized recommendations Assist with retail sales by upselling hair care products, styling tools, and grooming essentials to enhance client satisfaction Skills Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the barber/beauty industry Expertise in haircutting techniques including fades, tapers, and traditional styles using straight razors when appropriate Excellent sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Effective communication skills for client consultation and retail upselling opportunities Ability to multitask at front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and managing retail transactions Knowledge of retail math to optimize sales performance while maintaining excellent customer service Embark on a rewarding career where your talents make a difference!
