to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Assist with retail sales by upselling hair care products, hair extensions, and accessories to enhance client results. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired looks and educate them on proper hair care techniques. Support store management in front desk duties, including greeting clients, managing bookings, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations. Mentor junior team members in hairstyling techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service excellence. Stay current on industry trends such as hair coloring techniques, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care to provide comprehensive beauty services. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on hair styling and braiding techniques. Familiarity with salon software platforms like MINDBODY or similar systems for appointment scheduling and client management. Strong knowledge of hair care products, hair extensions, coloring theory, barbering basics, and sanitation protocols. Excellent communication skills for client consultations and retail upselling opportunities. Experience working with diverse hair types and textures to deliver customized styling solutions. Ability to manage retail sales transactions accurately using retail math principles. Prior mentoring or training experience is a plus for supporting team development efforts.
