Position:
As the Executive Director, you will provide strategic leadership across all operational, educational, compliance, and administrative functions within the School. You will work closely with both cosmetology students and staff to ensure an exceptional educational experience. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all school operations, actively participating in the student admissions and enrollment process, and directly managing students, staff, salon clients, and community partnerships. Additionally, you will conduct orientations, advise students, complete classroom observations, maintain student and staff records, and address any issues related to school operations. This position requires flexibility that may include working two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month. The annual salary for this position is$75,000 - $95,000. Our ideal Candidate possesses 5-8 years of combined work experience and education as outlined below: Management experience is required and operational management experience is preferred. School leadership experience in a post-secondary environment is a plus. Proven ability to effectively lead a team, manage budgets, and achieve operational goals. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing accreditation and/or compliance is preferred. Demonstrated ability to implement and execute established policies and procedures. Experience with student admissions/enrollment is a bonus. A Vocational Diploma, or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
