We are seeking a talented and passionate Experienced Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. We pay the standard Portland hourly wage, $16.75 per hour + 50% commission on services and 15% commission on retail. Responsibilities Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and texturizing services tailored to each client's preferences and hair type. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations and salon policies Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking Engage in effective client communication to understand their needs, offer professional recommendations, and upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools. Stay current with industry trends in hair coloring, cutting techniques, and new beauty treatments through ongoing education Experience Proven experience working as a professional hair stylist within the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse styles and techniques Demonstrated expertise in hair coloring, including color theory application for vibrant or subtle results.
