Are you a licensed Cosmetologist with a passion for hair design and a desire to create stunning transformations for your guests? At Douglas J, we're seeking experienced stylists who are ready to elevate their craft and deliver an exceptional salon experience.
What You'll Do:
Provide a thorough consultation to assess your guest's ideal image, evaluating face shape, hair texture, and at-home maintenance preferences. Perform individualized services to achieve the guest's ideal cut or style using cutting and styling techniques and products. Educate your guests on achieving their look at home using the salon's product lines and recommended styling techniques. Build relationships with guests and make pre-booking recommendations to attain guest retention. Continuously grow your technical skills and compensation through our level system, focusing on continuing education, guest retention, and delivery of at-home care recommendations.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
State of Michigan Cosmetology License Charismatic, approachable personality with a passion for hair design Personal drive to advance your skills and career Experience working with Aveda cutting and styling techniques and products is a plus
