Mentor junior team members on technical skills such as hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care while fostering a collaborative environment. Experience Valid cosmetology or barbering license with current certification in your state or region. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on barbering or men's grooming services. Strong knowledge of color theory, hair coloring techniques, and advanced styling methods. Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and retail transactions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide personalized service. Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize product recommendations. Knowledge of sanitation protocols specific to barbering including straight razor use and hygiene standards.
