The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair care and styling, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise while helping clients achieve their desired looks. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to staying current with industry trends. Responsibilities Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs. Stay informed about the latest trends in hair styling and color theory to offer clients the best advice. Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service. Manage appointments efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and salon productivity. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification. Proficiency in various hair techniques. Experience with nail care and makeup application is a plus. Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair services. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continually learn new skills.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience and/or strong knowledge in services.
  • Up to date State of Michigan Esthetician License.
  • Proficiency in using salon software, preferably SQUARE.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in esthetics or is required.
  • If lash certified
MUST HAVE REAL
Lash Certification.
  • Familiarity with product demos and sales techniques is a plus.
