In this energetic role, you will provide top-quality grooming and styling services to a variety of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. Your skills in animal handling, pet coat styling, and customer communication will create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling to meet breed standards and customer preferences Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during grooming procedures Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide professional advice on pet care and maintenance Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition Assist with pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other basic animal care tasks Support pet handling during grooming by demonstrating gentle animal handling skills and ensuring animal comfort at all times Engage in light physical activity including heavy lifting of pets or equipment as needed to ensure safety and efficiency Help keep the salon clean and organized Be proficient in grooming both canine and feline clients Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling,and animal care roles is required Knowledge of dog training techniques, veterinary procedures, and animal restraint methods Strong communication skills to interact confidently with pet owners and team members Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint and handling techniques across various species including dogs and cat clients Experience with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and general animal care practices Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, bending, and performing detailed grooming tasks A genuine passion for animals combined with excellent customer service skills Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
